ABOUT VICTIMS-ADVICE

Victims-Counselling helps victims, witnesses and relatives who have experienced violent and traumatic events, such as accidents, crime and traffic accidents. We cooperate with police, hospitals, fire-fighters and caseworkers in the whole country. We offer FREE personal or telephone advice and support.

  • What can I call about?

    You are welcome to call us when you have experienced a traumatic event. It may also be that you have seen something that you continue to feel bad about. If it's any of your friends or family members who have been exposed to something and you need to talk about it, you are also welcome to call us.

  • Am I anonymous?

    Yes. We are not obliged to register those citizens who seek support and advice from us.
    In addition, all our counsellors are subject to a confidentiality agreement.

  • Is there a queue?

    You may well find that the phone is busy. You will then be redirected to a national number, where there will be volunteer counsellors to take your call.

  • Can we meet face to face?

    Yes. We offer personal interviews and we also offer to accompany you to court or to talks with the municipality.

  • Who answers the call?

    Our telephone is operated by volunteers of all ages - men and women - who can help you 24/7.

  • May I call several times?

    Yes. You are always welcome to call when you need it.

  • What does it cost?

    All our help, support and advice is free.
